Banni (bæ-ni)

1. Banni bæ-ni (n)* - the elvish word for a tribeless elf. An elf who has been banished or otherwise left under unfavorable circumstances. Considered above etsapuls, it may connotate irresponsibility, disrespect, untrustworthiness, radicalism, heresy, physical ugliness, or sexual promiscuity depending on the context. It is considered offensive to call an elf belonging to an tribe a banni, but it is not offensive to call a tribeless elf one.
"Michel left his wife and became a banni."

"That banni is filling your head with nonsense."

3. Banni bæ-ni (adj) - relating to behaviors, traits or ideas that elven society deems to be improper, taboo or undesirable.
"Her mother sent Lily back to change after her dress was deemed too banni."
"He decided to prune his tree after his wife called it 'banni.'"
"The recruit's banni remarks landed him in trouble."
