Oosranhil
Coming of age ritual for elven young men at the age of 24. Marks them eligable for marriage. Similar to a Sarserin for woman. Comes after a Uhranhil. A Shaman with chant a specific chat that's different from each tribe and give the young man a cup of spiced wine to drink. After he drinks it a heavy mantel is placed on his shoulders represent the responsibilities of manhood. The Shaman will then mark the young man's forehead with a symbol of a virtue he exemplifies. Example virtues for these are valor, strength, diligence, loyalty, wisdom, integrity, leadership, diginilty and geniality. He will then recieve a token of inheriance that is often a weapon for tool. A Encrabor elf will now receive a new tattoo to document the event.
The ritual concludes with a feast and dance where the honoree takes the first bite to mark the beginning of his adult life with joy and plenty. For the honoree to offer a token marking at this feast is seen as particularly significant and is assumed to be an offer of exclusivity and upcoming propsal.
