Summer Solstice in the Time Clan

The summer solstice is on Luxvis 16 every year. It is the longest day of the year and marks the beginning of summer. Given the origin and name, the Time Clan the change of the seasons and passing of time are marked with rituals.

For the summer solstice, the dawn is greeted by the sound of horns which start a hunt and the light rays of sun fade to the sound of viols slowly decrescendoing which marks the end of a feast. People wear flower crowns gathered in the morning by children as the first flowers of summer. The first fruits of spring are made into nuvino and drunk, highest ranked person first, to begin the solstice feast for good luck. Youth dance a traditional circle dance. Babies born during the spring are blessed and officially named.
