Qualifications

Generally, the older and wiser one is the more likely they are to be selected.

Requirements

You must be a Dragonfolk of the correct color and wings to be elected the Clan Elder.

Appointment

The official election ceremony occurs once every 5 years. Each clan of Dragonfolk will elect a Clan Elder for their town.

Duties

The Clan Elders are expected to voice the concerns of their clan and ensure that members of the clan have what they need to live.

Benefits

Can serve in the Federal Senate and are given monetary compensation, the amount depends on the size of the clan.

Accoutrements & Equipment

Each clan has their own dress for Clan Elders. However, all of them possess some small kinds of jewelry.

History

Since before the Era of Humanity, the Dragonfolk have been divided into clans. It is said that these clans are as old as the Dragonfolk themselves. This is because each clan draws its lineage back to one of twenty Elder Dragons. These twenty Elder Dragons served as the first Clan Elders, guiding and caring for their children. Since then Clans have always kept the position of Clan Elder and fill it in a variety of ways. The Blue Dragonfolk look to the richest, the White Dragonfolk to the Strongest, and so forth.
