Sun and Moon
Structure
The Sun and Moon is divided into two sects; one dedicated to the aggression of the sun and the other detected to the protection of the moon. While each sect does have small differences in practice they are both seen as equal. A follower of the Sun and Moon would not simply worship just the sun or just the moon, instead they would turn to each of them for different needs.
The Sun
The Sect of the Sun focuses on courage, valor, and honor. The clergy of the sun pride themselves on actively hunting down evils and ending them. This can take the form of a priest going to someone's home to help them stop sinning or a cleric traveling to a devil infested shrine to cleans it. Regardless of the means the followers of the sect are expected to take the powers of the sun and use them to hunt down all evils. This sect regularly works with the Church of Calene and Church of Aarae in the pursuit of these efforts. The Sect of the Sun is headed by the Sunbringer, they are the chief of all clergy for the sect. Below them are Archpriests, Archclerics, and Archpaladins. The Moon
The Sect of the Moon focuses on patience, self reflection, and protection. The clergy of the moon strive to remain calm and clear headed above all, for as they teach one can only see the moon lit path when standing still. The sect works to help people understand that the moon shall always protect them and that they should always protect others. This generally takes the form of priests counseling those who are scared or anxious or clerics going out to defend their homes and the homes of their neighbors. This sect has worked with the Church of Davasil and Church of Haron. The Sect of the Moon is headed by the Moonbringer, they are the chief of all the clergy in this sect. Below them are Archpriests, Archclerics, and Archpaladins.Sun and Moon
For the church to function both the Sunbringer and Moonbringer must work together. All churches, shrines, and many orders are shared between the two sects. This cooperation is normally achieved through the Sunbringer and Moonbringer residing within the same city, though this has not always been the case. During the times when the Sunbringer and Moonbringer are apart it take much longer for them to agree on a course of action regarding anything. While the archclergy has the ability to build new churches and manage much of the day to day efforts in order to make any major changes the two bringers much issue a joint declaration.History
From Xuanwu comes the binary religion that worships the Sun and Moon. They are viewed as something like yin and yang. The Sun being aggression and the moon being patience. Both watch over mortals and defend them from evil. The sun watches during the day and the moon during night. New moons are viewed as very dangerous times when both sun and moon are in the hells fighting evil. Eclipses are very holy and safe times. The church started within the Dwarvish Isles and has since spread across the world. Two major places worship the Sun and Moon, the Dwarvish Isles and the Free Gnomish City. Historically the followers of the Sun and Moon have gotten along well with the followers of the Great Pantheon of Gods. The Sun and Moon simply sees the Pantheon deities as aspects of the Sun or Moon, whereas the Pantheon simply sees the Sun and Moon as avatars of some of their deities. The Sun and Moon focuses much of its efforts in the destruction of evil, it was waged many wars against daemons and devils alike.

An eclipse is one of the most holy holidays within the church. All the faithful are expected to attend the eclipse ceremony.
