Thraaqai Forest (Thra-kai)

The Thraaqai Forest is a large forest which engulfs much of Eastern Leona. The Heilish Throne's territory reaches as far as its most external treelines.
Inhabited by Heilish elves for uncounted centuries, the denizens of this forest narrowly avoided slaughter by Qalvi Varai during the Lifebreath War (3,209 - 3,215 LE).
Thraaqai Forest is famous for inflicting newcomers with psychically disorienting effects. It is also known to contain numerous ancient Heilish elvish ruins: compared to Heilish ruins north of the Forest, these subterranean ruins are famous for their supposed deadliness and the great treasures guarded within them.
