The War of Two Crowns

A succession crisis between two claimants to the Silverhelm throne—Prince Aldric and his cousin, Lady Elyse Silverhelm—plunged the kingdom into civil war. The conflict ended in a decisive victory for Lady Elyse, and the Silverhelm Concord was signed, laying down new laws for succession and governance. This war also gave rise to the Raven Guard, an elite group of warriors who sided with Lady Elyse and became the protectors of Ravenspire.
