Luprima (Loo-pree-mah)

Who/What is Luprima:

Luprima is the center of the universe of Luscariza, it is both a location and an entity. Luprima could be described as the consciousness or soul of reality. All things exist within and touch Luprima, but are also infinitely far away from her. Without her distance and connection would lose meaning for it is she who anchors all forms of space and time.

In the beginning it is said that there was nothing but an infinite expanse of endless white, that Luprima was pure and without substance at all. Nothing was felt or known within the infinite white void. It is unknowable how long the void existed like this because this is before anything could be said to have happened, and without happening there is no telling passage or even existence of time.

Rizagao's Birth

In the beginning of time, the first thing to ever happen was the sudden existence of a being who identified itself as Rizagao. As Rizagao came into being the infinite white void suddenly expanded, sending a ripple through itself. Rizagao was little more than a consciousness within the void, with no physical form, a concept within Luprima's dreaming state.

Scanal's Birth

Rizagao was not in slumber like Luprima, and his definition began to grow like a seedling. The first thing Rizagao is said to have felt is lonliness. Luprima shuddered at his lonliness, felt his yearning for something he didn't understand, and soon after she dreamed him a partner: Scanal. For a brief moment Luprima was at peace again, the lonliness subsided, and her infnite void was once again still.
Not long after his creation the consciousness of Scanal began to explore beyond its initial existence. It found Rizagao and probed it but there was little reaction, so it explored Luprima but found her vast and empty. Scanal sought more than Lumprima offered. He grew bored of Rizagao and Luprima who seemed content with nothing. Luprima could feel his boredom and wanting the boredom to cease she granted him the power to create.

The Birth of Motes

Creating was not Scanal's strong suit initially, the things Scanal tried to create sputtered into existence pathetically before sputtering out again, as if they were weak enough that simply sleeping was enough to cause their existence to cease. Not understanding this weakness of will to exist Scanal began to rethink his creations. Eventually Scanal devised a way for his creations to create copies of themselves. He once again set about creation, and created the first motes.

It was not long after the creation of these motes that they began to fill out into Luprima's void streatching on into infinite. The motes were simple, weak-willed, and without purpose besides self replicating, but they existed, and observing them gave Scanal peace for a time.
