The Year Of Battle

Luxinor, a world of magic, of warriors, of monsters and of heroes. A world with places that range from gorgeous nature utopias to hellish, destroyed wastelands. Luxinor has five major continents, First, there is Nirn, the realm of humans. Nirn is ruled over by a human king and his elven queen by his side. Whilst this continent has a human majority, it is not discriminatory to any race or creed. So you can easily expect to find people from all different backgrounds here. Nirn is home to special locations, such as Theros and Blackstone, two of the largest cities on Luxinor. Blackstone being home to the king of Nirn. Other large cities and the areas surrounding them here, are ruled over by different governing forces, such as underkings and in certain places, democracies take the stage. The second continent is The Transient Isles, home to the different species of Elves and Fey that live on this material plane. Ruled over by the council of earthly fey, the figureheads of the elven species often meet in the capital city of Amyethemar to discuss and debate the actions that the collective elven society will take. Thirdly, is the realm of Efulas, more famously known as the Wildland. This continent is a hunter's paradise. It has Frozen lands of snow and seemingly endless forests. Rife with animal life, it is also the homeland of races such as orcs and minotaurs, who often prove themselves to be worthy warriors. This land is ruled over by various warlords stationed around the continent in it's separate biomes, and these overlords all answer to the Wild-King. The Wild-King is not based on birthright or election, but instead, they are the warlord who proves themselves best in combat. Biannually, the warlords hold a contest between each other or a nominated clan member. The victor of this competition will be the Wild-King until the next contest. Then, there is Thagria. Land of Gems and Stone. Home to the dwarven emperor, who lives in the great mountain city of Von Faldir. This place is home to the Mount Sword-Shatter, the highest peak of all Luxinor. It is also the home of giants, who terrorise the villages and cities, taking crops and livestock as they please. This has lead to the dwarven warrior army known as the giant slayers, specifically trained to hunt and put down the giant clans that scatter across the continent. Finally, is the Plymval Isles. This is the most dangerous of the continents and possibly the most treacherous of all Luxinor. These isles of rock and magma are home to the dragon clans, who are constantly at war with one another. It is the continent that the least is known about, as not many who enter leave it alive. However, rumour has it that the whole realm of dragons is forsaken by the gods.
