Felldoran
Infant Nation
A nation spanning nearly half of the continent of Daya and now sharing a landmass with the country of the same name. This nation was founded after the events of the Rennlund Civil War, and was negotiated as part of a peace treaty signed by King Vizronn of the nation of Rennlund. The founding political organization of Felldoran is the Chimera Assembly made up of two houses (families) from Rennlund (Mellasombre and Bastion) and one from Korloss (Den'ir). During the war, this assembly worked tirelessly to achieve victory and fought of one purpose. After the victory, however, the founding parties disagreed on how best to rule. This caused conflict and in the case of House Den'ir, their Marquette decided to return home and avoid further involvement.
...and then there were two
With two houses now vying for dominance over the fledgling nation, factions sprung up in support of one or the other house and, in some cases, factions who supported a reestablishment of one continental nation. Alistair, who was the Patriarch of House Bastion, tired of fighting, chose to seek counsel from Eldreth, who had been his mentor and helped him through his redemption from the horrors he felt he commited during the war. After long deliberation, they hatched a plan to assemble a clandestine group who were small enough to go unnoticed, but who had great potential to change the world for the better (seeWayfaring Strangers).
