Pelor

God of Light

Pelor is the god of light in Pantheon of the Port Bellah Campaign. He and his mate Mellandra, along with Kord, were primarily responsible for quelling the uprising of the dark god Vecna an age ago. Pelor's appearance is that of a fair and athletically built male, haloed in light, who wears gold and white raiments.

A hideous wound...

During the War of the Gods, Pelor struck the final blow on Vecna, but in doing so suffered what is described in texts as a hideous wound. During the events of the Wayfaring Strangers campaign (circa 1380), it was discovered that half of Pelor's soul had been trapped with Vecna when sealing the dark god away. The brave adventurers of the party were able to free this half of his soul by travelling into the mind prison created by Vecna and freeing Pelor's soul.

Clerics of the Light Domain would follow Pelor.
