Soul Stone

Produced through a magic ritual, this stone holds the soul of whoever performed the ritual. Depending on the gemstone used, the soul can inhabit the stone for anywhere between a few days to thousands of years.
A secondary use of the stone is to create a copy of a persons mind and place it into an object. One instance of a soul stone being used in this way is Vitez Ritter, Scholar of Korloss, using it to place his mind into a journal to keep his knowledge preserved forever.
