Iova Ka Panth: Killers of Dragons - By Natas B. Kanosis

Introduction

Iova Ka Panth, also known as The Cult of Dawn, were the first followers of the celestial Iova and his "Angels." When Iova, in his jealousy, turned against his brother, Kyrazosanz, he sought out followers amongst the weakest of hearts to worship him as a god.

Public Agenda

To bring light into the world by eliminating the blight of dragons on the world. They believe that as their God Iova is named dawn, to slay all dragons in his name would bring about a new dawn of eternity to them. Followers are often told they will live immortal if they follow his commandments and offer him the soul stones.

History

The cult was created when Iova finds a way to travel through the portals to Gaia. There he finds Gaian's who believe him to be a god. Having his angels use their magics he convinces the mortals he is a god of storm and wars. He commands their loyalty and in return he promised them their own paradise and eventual immortality.

Mythology & Lore

"Iova, the light of men, came to us and told us we would have paradise. In a glowing light like wheels of fire he called before him the winds and said we were his people.  'Of dust I created you, and to it you will go for your misdeeds. But come with me to paradise with your sacrifice. Offer from the skies the demons who oppose me.'    And so we shot down the demons and poured blood on the altar of god, Iova, and in return those who followed his commandments were taken to paradise living immortal." - Book One of Pravudan ( The Awakening)
