Revolution

A revolt against Friesan rule leads to the establishment of a new people.

There is a rebellion against Friesan rule by a number of the Ceorls who had their lands taken by the current Sovereign - Tomon's - friends and colleagues. Protesting against the corruption were also many merchants and scholars. The disparate group of frustrated gentry left Friesa and settled in the land that would become Brytha, naming themselves Brythans in solidarity against Tomon's name. War against these two groups last decades, as collectively the Brythans had enough money to buy out many guilds and mercenary companies.
