Commander Adin Tore Servaas

Adin, born Agnar Servaas, was born and raised on a farm on Asgaard, one of earth’s earliest colonies. From a young age he had Vodun, the protestant-pagan mixed religion spawned from Norse mythology, deeply seeded into him. Being an early colony, built from scratch, Asgaardian culture focused on tough children and rigid discipline. Servaas performed on top of all of his classes in elementary school. He spent most of his time outside of school either working on his parents’ farm, or working on his photography. At the age of 10 Adin was diagnosed with gender dysphoria and started therapy. At 13 her issues were beyond the power of counseling, and she began transitioning to female. Her mother was strongly disapproving of Adin's transition, and she grew distant from her daughter. She adopted the name Adin and began living full time as a girl before beginning high school.
Adin was very quiet in her first year of high school. She had no friends of her own until her second year, when she met Orvar Kjall. Adin never considered him to be her boyfriend, but anyone else would've called them a couple. Orvar was enrolled in the high school’s JROTC program. Adin gained an interest in the armed forces through Orvar, and planned to enroll in the JROTC program herself.
The day she was to sign up, her sixteenth birthday, Asgaard colony was bombed by ordel splinters. She was one of the only 47,000 survivors. While the Systems Conglomerate knew about the incident, they refused to do anything beyond sending a fleet to haul away the refugees. This was an early spark for Servaas’ xenophobia. She was pulled off of the planet by Jessi Freeborn aboard Endeavor.
Adin’s soldiering wishes were dashed by this, the loss and trauma left her with more vengeance than patience in her heart. She was discharged from United Commonwealth Army basic training two months in and ruled to be unfit for soldiering beacuse of her trauma. She was recommended to join officer training, and she did. Adin finished her officer training with the UCAS, in the tactical command. She rapidly worked her way up to Executive of OSYS aboard the starcruiser Jakarta, and later warstar Thunderer. She served as an integral officer in many attacks on ordel splinters. In 2164 Adin was dishonorably discharged from UCAS service after striking multiple superior officers who were defending ordel military actions. After Jessi Freeborn caught word of Servaas’ situation she requested Adin be enlisted as Virage’s XO. The HSEI ignored the charges and brought her on.
Adin proved an invaluable XO during the Silver Front uprising on Ceven. When shit hits the fan Servaas will be the one taking charge, since Freeborn isn’t well trained or experience in combat.
