JAXA begins work on the earth's first space elevator

Having access to large-scale borophene production, engineers from JAXA design a space elevator. JAXA repurposes the Sea Dragon concept to launch massive amounts of borophene. The elevator is anchored in Sapporo, Japan and Sydney, Australia.
