Splatter Alien

Splatter aliens are a popular toy that was created not too long before the discovery of Humanity.
It has the appearance of an astronaut, and when squeezed it's head will fill with red fluid similary to an astronaut facing depressurization in space. While colours and appearance may vary, traditional splatter aliens are disinctly human-shaped.

History

Splatter aliens were inspired by the initial discovery of a deceased human astronaut from one of M'Zeri's early tests into space travel.

Cultural Reception

While popular, the majority of species who buy this item don't know what a human is and don't understand what it is actually based off of. Humans generally find them to be morbid and distasteful.
Splatter aliens are not sold by reputable businesses under the Galactic Union, but they can be found in many spacestations.
