Creature of Beginnings

We thought it was the night of the end. Light fell like a rain upon the world and the Feos fled their halls before it. The Divine rose up from their realms and the moon awakened, and the Creature fell before the hatred and fury of Chaos itself. On that night we thought all hope was lost.

It is told that from the void emerged the Creature of Beginnings, soon after the darkness had been vanished by Frugi's hand. The Creature was great and ancient being, who called itself naught but a spirit of wisdom, though many amongst the gods believed it was the Void itself personified.
The Creature was charming, and claimed it sought only knowledge, for the sake of learning. For many eons this was so and the gods grew comfortable with its presence. But after the world had been made for many eons, the Creature grew curious of the places beyond the world. It believed it knew all to be known of mortals and their world, and so it sought out the dark corners of the universe.
In the corners it found the great wall around reality and it beheld the things beyond. It wanted to know of them too, so it sought to break through the barrier. But the Creature, knowledgeable nonetheless, was naive.
Through this tear came Guamata, the Destroyer. The Creature knew little of using its vast power and it was torn asunder beneath Guamata’s attack. The other gods forced back the darkness but the world was scarred forever by the event. In those few moments the Severed Gods came to be and many of Ramio’s stars were extinguished forever by the darkness, which may be seen as the Great Pit in the sky till this day.
