The Story So Far...

Kala and Vondel, on orders from the Church of Tyr, head towards Greenwood Village. Along the way, they encounter Zati and take them as their prisoner/travel companion after a failed theft attempt. Right before entering Greenwood they met Sindri a Genasi from Bronze Bottom also seeking out the undead after hearing rumors. They decide to join forces to solve this mystery.

The party first stopped at The Walking Peanut a bar run by the suspicious and rambunctious Zurbil. Although he appears somewhat forthcoming, he gives the party no information. Sindri heads towards The Gracious Bee while the rest of the party heads towards the Greenwood Temple Of Tyr.

While at the Gracious Bee Sindri looks for interesting weapons. Although he fails, he does meet Wetmuck Bitterfoot, a grumpy dwarf who attempts to sell Sindri some "Dwarven Sky-Metal." Sindri leaves feeling his time was wasted.

Meanwhile, the rest of the party meets Hymn, the sage at the Temple of Tyr. After the slightest amount of intimidation Hymn, terrified that two inquisitors has come to his small town, explains that Yohan Marley has been raising dead at the ruins outside of town.

The party approaches the ruins, and finds Jacob Marley, Yohan's father, yelling at him up the in the tower. After a sour exchange of words, Zati convinces Jacob to leave Yohan to them. Yohan is almost persuaded to leave, but locks himself in the tower. The party enters, and fights some skeletons and some zombies, before finally coming across the dreaded Skelezombie. They rescue Yohan from it's attack and recover the Staff of Flesh and Bone which he had been using to raise the dead. They reunite Yohan with his mother and father, and enjoy some grilled cheeses before staying at the Peanut for the night.

The next day the party investigates more into the staff and finds themselves once again at The Gracious Bee. Bitterfoot offers to help examine the staff, but Sindri offers his hammer instead. Bitterfoot takes off with Sindri's hammer into his basement, and the party follows.

The Staff of Flesh and Bone glows with purple lightning and animates various weapons and dust spirits to attack the party as they pursue Bitterfoot. The party defeats Bitterfoot, who seemed possessed by the staff. He admits that he planted the staff at the ruins hoping that Yohan would find and use it, but couldn't explain exactly why. The party discovers the former resting place of the staff is covered with ancient Tyrian runes, and that the Bee was previously owned by Arthur Aguefort who left town years before.

Before leaving town the party makes one last stop at the Peanut, where Zurbil reveals to the party that he is going to become an adventurer as well, and leaves the bar in the hands of Zurbil Jr. who he hatches by soaking an egg in beer, revealing himself to be a Beibergiest.

The party chooses to head towards Greycott, with Sindri having heard of an oracle there. After a half days walk the party came across a broken carriage, a trap set by bandits looking to rob them of the staff they carried. Led by Myrin, the bandits were no match for the party. All but their leader lay dead.

The party took Myrin closer to the city, where they utilized "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" to attempt to find out what was going on. Despite their best efforts, he had nothing to offer but unwitty retorts. Now missing a toe, Myrin was carried by the party into Greycott where he was dropped off at the local jail. The party adjourned for the evening to The Double-Tree Inn where Kala was finally able to get a well deserved bath.

The next morning the party went to check on Myrin, and found that he had been bailed out overnight by his husband Bernard. After collecting their bounty and church tithe from the jail, the party, out of clues, decided to try and locate the oracle. After a brief stop at a bar Sindri had once visited the party finds the home of the Oracle, ransacked, with patches of dark fur left around.

The party follows tracks they locate outside and find themselves led into the Sewers of Greycott where they encounter rats and rat-like humanoids. They find a skeleton of a large beast in the sewers before finding three people locked in cages. Sephy an elven woman, Zeus, a town guard, and Max, a halfling traveler. After discovering a bite on the neck of Zeus, Kala immediately slays him, fearing a disease. Not finding bites on the necks of Spehy or Max, they are left to leave the sewers. A stash of valuable goods are found and Zati lends their expertise in identifying that these are unique personal belongings.

The party locates the Oracle Lyra tied up in a room of rat-like humanoids. They are attacked and defend themselves, freeing Lyra. They escort her out of the sewers and back to her home where she offers to answer one question for them. The party asks about what happened with Myrin and Lyra grants them a vision of Myrin being picked up by Bernard, being taken back to the site of their ambush and collecting the bodies of their comrades in a wagon. They then are seen returning to Thuria .

The party takes a well earned rest at The Double-Tree Inn before setting out towards Thuria once again, with vengeance on their mind.

After arriving at Thuria, Vondel begins informing the guards at the entrance of Myrin and Bernard's misdeeds. He instructs them to arrest them and contact him if seen. Sindri and Zati decide to check out Smith's Row while Vondel and Kala return to the temple of Tyr to report on their mission.

Zati shows Sindri through their old neighborhood of Murkwell, giving a brief look into the state of their life before joining up with the party. Upon reaching Smith's Row Sindri seeks an opportunity to learn more about the methods used in Thuria. Sindri meets with Oli, the Master Blacksmith, who offers to give some on the job training and invites him to return the next day.

Kala and Vondel enter the temple and head towards the office of Magister Whitelaw, who sent them on their mission. Immediately upon entering the church Vondel makes note of a guard acting strangely, and pursues him up a stairwell. It takes the guard begging to finish his trip to the bathroom and a brief talk-down by Kala to let Vondel leave him be, but Vondel's suspicions do not cease.

The duo make their way to Whitelaw's office who meets with them and expresses shock at the outcome of their journey. He is concerned about the nature of their allies they report to have made, but they assure him they have been inducted into the church or will be soon. Whitelaw sends them to speak with Magister Pious who runs the Relic Museum inside the church. Vondel hands over to Pious the Staff of Flesh and Bone he still held. Pious remarks about how powerful an object it is and promises them it will be well cared for.

Both groups meld at Kala's house in the district of Gleewood. They meet her Grandfather Stron Stoutbough and after some awkward introductions rest for the night.

Upon awakening Sindri takes off for a day working at the forge and Kala, Vondel, and Zati head to inform the other guards to be on the lookout for Myrin. At the Eastern Garrison they meet Thiccabod and his fellow guards who seem of questionable quality. However Vondel locates a member of the Cult of St. Alia named Faxina. Vondel informs her specifically to contact him if Myrin is spotted. After informing the Northern garrison as well, they take a brief detour to The Grand Baazar. Later, they meet Sindri at Smith's Row and attempt to 'talk him up' to Oli. Oli is impressed with his work and tells him to come back for actual training the next day.

After a brief dinner at Kala's home Vondel is contacted by Faxina via Communication Orb, who alerts him that Myrin and Bernard were spotted at the Eastern Garrison a few hours previously. The party heads over and finds the guards stationed there of little help. They admit to letting Myrin and Bernard through noting that they had "Church Passports" that label them as essential personal to be let through without question.

The party decides to meet with Vondel's contact and enter the Temple of Tyr through a hidden entrance. Inside they meet Kyle Imneau, who greets them at the door. Vondel tells the party a bit about the history and culture of St. Alia while they navigate. Vondel speaks with Faxina in the room of the Communication Orb, she tells them that Myrin and Bernard were headed towards the Stables when she was no longer able to follow them. Faxina confirms that they showed Church Passports and apologizes for not being able to stop them. As they leave a cloaked figure informs Vondel to "Trust No One."

Headings towards the Stables the party finds themselves meeting with Sigfredia who runs the place. Zati questions about the price of a Rhino, but the rest ask for assistance in locating Myrin. Sigfredia seems convinced and heads inside her shack to get something. After a few moments of conversation the party realizes that she has not returned and enter her home. Kala jumps out the window to chase after Sigfredia, but instead steps on her arm on the other side of the wall. Sigfredia begs for forgiveness, saying she wasn't sure what to do and tells them where Myrin's wagon is and that they headed towards the Temple of Tyr. The party finds the wagon full of the covered bodies of Myrin's fallen comrades. At the last moment, Sigfredia invites Zati to return at 3AM with suggestions of purchasable Rhinos.

The group returns to the Temple of Tyr, this time taking the Administrative Entrance. There they meet Jorbis, the guard. He questions the presence of Zati and Sindri, but Vondel insists they are part of the church and have been cleared. Kala begrudgingly does not correct Vondel. Jorbis lets them through and informs them they've been asked to be seen by Magister Whitelaw.

Upon entering his office again, Whitelaw begins laying down lists of what each one there has done to wrong the church. Vondel, for spying, Zati, for their numerous crimes, Sindri, for attempting to steal smithing secrets, and Kala for standing by and letting the others commit these acts. Additionally, he charges the party with withholding the Relic-Seeking Ring. As Whitelaw monologues, Sindri attacks him by heating his rings and Vondel blasts him out of his third story window. The party is attacked by two guards who were waiting outside. Kala pleads with the rest of the party to leave while the guards are disabled. Unbeknownst to the others, Zati had found Whitelaw hanging on for life outside of the window and finished the job.

The party flees from Whitelaws office, taking a path through the Relic Museum. There they speak with Pious who tells them how sorry he feels about the tongue-lashing they were set to receive from Whitelaw, and if they received the package he intended them to have. The party talks their way around this, but do tell him they think they might have heard something from Whitelaws office. Pious goes to investigate as the group heads to Tyrian Community Center for the Needy. There Zati encounters Gregoria, a strange woman from her past, and Sindri is spoken to by a child who doesn't seem to understand him. The party leaves soon after entering to avoid a scene.

Defeating a group of guards, the party finds themselves at the entrance of the Temple with only a single person standing between them and the exit. A strange humanoid (Dorian) taunts the party before splitting into a dozen copies of himself after using a pendant around his neck. Despite nearly being killed, the party manages to take down his clones, but Dorian manages to escape with an unconscious Sindri.

Kala, Vondel, and Zati attempt to follow after them and rescue their comrade, but are overtaken by guards who flood into the room to subdue them. When all hope seems lost, Kala begins to glow with blinding light. Kala, Vondel and Zati then wake up in a field of grass with the sun shining on their face. The city of Thuria lies in the background, with an indeterminate time between now and when they last saw Sindri. Vondel begins receiving a backlog of messages from Faxina, "Where are you?" "Are you safe?" "They're all dead" "Have to lay low, will talk soon."

After ensuring they are all okay and weighing the options of what to do next Vondel suddenly receives another message in the form of a strong vision. Vondel sees their wanted posters go up and Whitelaw, alive and well, proclaiming them heretics in front of a group of Knights. Faxinas face appears and tells Vondel that there is something that can clear their name in The Dwarven Lands to the north. The message ends with Faxina screaming in pain and Vondel experiencing mental injuries.

While heading back to the main road the party notices a village that Vondel and Kala had never noticed before. It is Himsburg a village having a festival where Tyrs for Fears is playing. The party takes notice of the frontman Brimm and attempts to recruit the band to help them escape to the north. Brimm eventually comes around after a round of drinks and officially joins the party. The band and the party participate in the festival and win various prizes.
While spending the night at the Travel-Inn the party is woken up by the screams of the members of Tyrs for Fears (sans Brimm) being sacrificed in the town square. This sacrifice seems to bring a heavy red mist into the area.

They immediately spring into action and the cultists who scarified their friends begin to scatter and the party slays the remaining few. After gathering up their festival supplies (and liberating two goldfish) Kala lights the pile ablaze and the party members leave town on stolen horses.
