Neeko
Neeko is a black-furred Tabaxi with a flair for the dramatic. He wears a blue vest with gold buttons that complement his sleek fur, and a fedora that sits jauntily atop his head, giving him an air of refined confidence. His most distinguishing feature is his thin mustache, neatly groomed and curling slightly at the ends, paired with a monocle that rests over his right eye. The monocle gives Neeko a somewhat scholarly appearance, making him seem like an expert in his peculiar trade.
Neeko is always eager to share his enthusiasm for knots and ropes, explaining the intricate differences between fisherman’s knots, bowlines, slipknots, and enchanted bindings.

Mental Trauma
Neeko's descent into madness began with a whisper—a faint, echoing murmur in the back of his mind, which he at first dismissed as a trick of the imagination. But as he spent more time near the glass jar containing "Us", the whispers grew louder, more insistent.
Neeko, once a proper and meticulous Tabaxi known for his well-groomed appearance and refined demeanor, began to whither. His black fur, once smooth and sleek, became matted and unkempt, patches of it turning a dull gray. The leaves that once adorned his shop fell away, and cobwebs gathered in the corners. Neeko no longer bothered with combing his mustache, and it became wild and untrimmed, curling in strange directions.
The whispers from the "Us" grew stronger, twisting Neeko’s thoughts, and turning his once-sharp mind into a maelstrom of paranoia and obsession. Eventually, Neeko stopped opening his shop altogether. Instead, he began to roam the streets of Lingmell, clutching the jar containing "Us" tightly to his chest. He would mutter to the ooze as he walked, holding one-sided conversations with the creature within, speaking in a voice that was strained and desperate. He would tell it of the fools who didn’t understand its true power, how they couldn’t see the brilliance that he could.
In time, Neeko left Lots of Knots behind entirely. He abandoned his shop to dust and decay, its once tidy shelves now overgrown with cobwebs and creeping vines.
The Truman Group eventually ran into Neeko in Hullmith where they recognized his spiral in madness, and successfully separated him from the ooze in the jar.
