The Noble Savage (a.k.a. Gruumsh,)
The one with the bloodied hands is also the god of war, strength, honor, promises, and mutilation. This god embodies the horrors of war, and follows a strict code Of Honor. Anyone who breaks a vow or fights with dishonor is said to incur the Craven's Mist. The curse takes the form of a rage that is said to take over the victim in a moment of personal weakness and cause them to attempt to slaughter anyone in the vicinity. Follows of Ma'kata have been known to cut off ears of Noses to offer to the God in either penance or for his favor. One instance of the gods wrath was when a great chieftain of Hjarland challenged the god in a one on one fight. No weapons, no magic, just fists. The Chieftain cheated against the god using a knife hidden in his boot to lethally strike the gods mortal shell. Angered at the audacity of this dishonorable act, he cursed the land of Hjarland to never see other seasons then winter, the lands never ending snow and ice a direct cause of Ma'kata's anger.
