Aliolot

The aliolot Grippli of Bangallia establish treetop villages in the dense rainforest. They have developed sustainable and ingenious techniques to provided ample food and protection with minimal harm to the environment.

Along the Kakea river and its tributaries, the aliolot build spillways to trap fish and use bamboo-like aqueducts to bring this water to their homes. On the trunks of their tree houses and in the undergrowth, these grippli cultivate vast mushroom patches. Giant insects, such as dragonflies, are reared both as a food source and as a mount for hunters. The fattest larva are consumed while the strongest are raised for riding.

The aliolot traded with the Eldar elves as those elves established Bangallia, teaching them their methods of cultivating the land. This influenced Eldar philosophy towards harmony with nature. As this trade developed further, the aliolot joined Bangallia peacefully.
