Atorfik

The seafaring Atorfik of the Shifting Archipelago are as at home on the water as they are on their island shores. Indeed many Atorfik find the deck of a shift to be a more stable home than the rising and falling islands.

Atorfik life is one of constant alertness to geological changes. Within hours of the first tremors preceding a sinking, an entire atorfik settlement can be disassembled and put to sea with all its peoples, animals and belongings safely headed to their next temporary home.
