Chelnato

The chelnato are a goblinoid society dominated by bugbears that value stealth and torture in addition to strength. Most chelnato rove in small bands lead by one or a pair of bugbears and make lairs in hard-to-find hills and forests. From these lairs they strike out to hunt, competing with other chelnato as well as local dinosaurs.

The chelnato have established several larger settlements, built up around ritual sites for competition. Prisoners are brought to these cities to be tortured for sport, the bugbear that extracts the most useful information is celebrated and gains respect across their lands.
