Maftet

Maftets are bipeds sporting hawk-like wings with lower bodies covered in soft, downy, almost furry feathers and a long feathered tail that has a tuft of larger feathers at the tip. Their clawed feet are far less dangerous than their expertly wielded scimitars and strange magical tattoos.

Maftet are isolationist, small groups gather to protect and maintain the ruins or lost cities they call home from any looters. They are most commonly found in alpine ruins or in the desert of swords. In the desert, they often share the ruins with a family of Girtablilu and will focus on aerial scouting and defense.
