Serpentfolk

Serpentfolk are a diverse ancestry of serpent-featured creatures with scaly skin, forked tongues and snake heads. Most serpentfolk are bipedal with a snake-like tail in addition to their other limbs. Some serpentfolk can be born without legs and instead their body continues below their arms into a thick tail. Zyss sepentfolk are those born with innate magical abilities and heightened intellect rivaling their draconic ancestors while aapoph serpentfolk tend to be built more powerfully and can develop physical abilities to rival the magical zyss.
