Urdefhan

The Urdefhan are necrotic bipeds originally created by a long forgotten ritual. Urdefhan share many traits with undead, most notably healing from negative energy, and can often be mistaken for them, but they are very much alive and are able to reproduce and be killed normally. Some scholars ruminate on the similarities between urdefhan and the vampires that arrived. Urdefhan have translucent skin and flesh and their organs and bones are clearly visible within. This horrifying visual counteracts the risks of having your organs be easily targeted by a precision strike. When an urdefhan dies, their body rapidly decomposes, releasing necrotic fumes.
