Order of the Aiyevanin
The Order of the Aiyevanin existed since the founding of Tanivon, over a thousand years ago. The order itself was comprised of the Aiyevanin, the Users of the Maker's half of the Source Power. These Source Users were the most highly skilled warriors in Magavir, but more than that- they were the only ones able to use the Source Power. Their order was made up of three distinct groups- the Lower, Middle, and Higher Aiyevanin. The Lower Aiyevanin were usually either children or those with a weak connection to the Source Power. They were not allowed to vote in the elections of the Aiyevanin. Next were the Middle Aiyevanin- those more skilled at using the Source Power. They were given this title by the Higher Aiyevanin, and they could vote for the members of the High Council. Finally, the Higher Aiyevanin- those who showed immense strength in the usage of the Source Power- were able to run in elections for High Council. The High Council controlled the order, and its say was final. However, as fewer and fewer Aiyevanin were born, the Order began to descend into ruin, until finally, none were left. The Temple of the Order in Tanivon was taken over by the Scholars' Guild, preserved for what they believed to be the Last Aiyevanin, the one who would reunite the Eternal Spirit and drive the dead from Magavir forever.
