33 Thomas Street

A massive, windowless monolith of Brutalist architecture, 33 Thomas Street is the primary stronghold of the Technocratic Union in New York City. All Tradition Mages are aware of this fact, it is not subtle. The Gauntlet surrounding the structure is a thick as being inside most Technocratic Constructs, and the Consensus in the immediate vicinity is so rigid it makes even sleepers uncomfortable. It was the target of several attack by Tradition Mages during the Ascension War, but the tower is for all intents and purposes impregnable.
Countless Mages have disappeared into its depths over the years, and none are ever seen again. Theories about what happens to them abound, from brainwashing and conditioning facilities that break them into souless Technocratic drones to Progenitor vivisection labs... All anyone truely knows is that for a Tradition Mage, any passage through the heavy doors of 33 Thomas Street is a one way trip.
