Magiontology is an alternative-history project, with the basic premise that magical beings (called 'magions') exist in our world.
'Magiontology' literally means "the study of magical beings", and while this project has different faces, this is, and will always be, its core: magical beings that live in our world, hidden (or just unnoticed) from us. As the name suggests, these magical beings (I'll just call them magions, shall I? It
is shorter), are studied: their habitat and diet, their habits and (if they have it) culture. Some magions are unique plants, others are mammal or bird like creatures, and some are what we would call humanoid (they usually find the term very human-centrist, and prefer their own term, 'gnomidae') and have complex cultures and traditions. This information, and more, can be found in the Magiontology Archives, and there are lexicons explaining magion taxonomy and terminology.
p.s. All writing and art is made by this weird human called Naama (known online as Peculiaris) - nice to meet you!
This is an ongoing project, so consider this a little glimpse✨
