In the center of the kingdom of Golabra lies a magnificent Castle; The Smoking Palisades. The castle was built up high on a mountain of Smoke Glass with spears of the glass shards reaching out into the sky surrounding the keep.
Surrounding the walls of the keep are large statues hand-carved out of the Smoke Glass in the likeness of a great Pheonix. Each statue around the keep has the phoenix at a different stage of its life and in a different pose.
It is said that the statues would come to life if the need of the kingdom was ever so dire. No invaders have ever stepped feet into the Burning Palisades or attempted to sack the city due to its desolate nature.
