The Blood Runes of the Northern Swamps

Where does the Language Originate from? The Northern Swamps in the Realm of Zurrican.
What is unique about the language? Blood runes are always drawn out in the blood of a victim. Victims can be animals as well as sentient life.
Who uses the Language? The Blood elves of the Northern Swamps
How has it been kept a secret? The Marshes and swamps in the northern reaches of Zurrican or plagued with foul landscapes and the quick to anger Blood Elves. Due to this few ever dare to venture into the land causing the secrets of the Blood Elves to stay within the swamps.
If the language is secretive what secret is being hidden? They Blood Elves will mark areas around them as well as possible victims to be captured. The symbols refer to places of great power, valuable resources and victims to be sacrificed. They use these secret runes so that the Ukari to the south will not understand the markings and catch on to what they are doing and or plotting.
Recently the Ukari have begun seeing blood markings around homes and places in their kingdom of Mt Vulmar. This has prompted many to question the marking as more than a coincidence and with the huge rise in missing Ukari civilians, the coincidences are starting to become overwhelming. The Ukari citizens will now search around their homes at night before bed to check if they may be the next target for a disappearance.
Hoods have been banned in the kingdom as they believe the Blood elves have infiltrated the land and are beginning to plan another push/attack on the Mt kingdom.

It is said that an ancient book exists that depicts the symbols and their uses. A foul and twisted Shaman of the Marshes is said to conduct the rituals for the Blood elves although none who have ever met the shaman have ever been able to tell the tale.
