Woolly White Coral Mushroom

What is the Species: Fungus - Woolly White Coral Mushroom
Physical Description: Color: Reddish muddy Brown Mushroom with a Furry appearance of white hairs and tendrils that give it the name the nickname "Woolly White"
The mushrooms growns in a similar shape as coral and is a fairly large mushroom species.
The mushrooms will grow on the native trees in the kingdom but only on the west side as the winds generally come from the east.
How is the mushroom harvested: A group of farmers go through and pick the mushrooms. The mushrooms are pried from the bark of the trees using long tools with sharp ends basically severing the mushroom from the tree. The mushrooms are very hearty and will grow back in time providing a valuable resource of food and trade.
Who Owns the Farming Operation: The forest is controlled by the (Pick a family) and has a few different smaller families who live within the forest harvesting these mushrooms.
Any dangers associated with the species: The mushrooms are not considered poisonous and are safe to eat even raw. Some have stated that eating too many mushrooms can cause serious digestive problems and irritation. 
Does the species have any predators: Massive Slugs, Deer when they can reach and squirrels.
How widely spread are the mushrooms: This particular variety of mushrooms is only found in the forests surrounding Mt Vulmar.
How does it effect the economy: The mushrooms are a hot commodity at the markets as many of the citizens desire the sweet and tasty mushrooms.
How are the Mushrooms prepared: The best and common way of cooking the mushrooms is as follows:
Brush and wash the mushrooms Cut into thin slices Cook in bacon grease. 3 minutes before finishing add garlic garnish with a fine dry stinky cheese.
