Brittle Maiden

A brittle maiden is a creature of elemental ice from the Daziarn. They harbor a deep antipathy for anything that creates warmth, including most animals. They are native to the Daziarn and never visit Manamund under their own volition. They may be summoned and retained in colder climes.

A Brittle Maiden can create bladed weapons out of ice and use them against opponents. They have been known to create weapons as large as pole-arms and as small as short swords.

A Brittle Maiden's body is strong and exhibits the following traits.

A Brittle Maiden can summon a small fragment of its home realm. It appears as a torch sized bright life that will hover within a hex of the creature. While the fragment exists, the Brittle Maiden can tap into it to rebuild its own icy body.

All brittle maidens appear as 6-7ft tall female creatures of elemental ice, though they have no discernable gender identification.

Brittle Maidens' method of reproduction is unknown.

Brittle Maidens are native to the Daziarn plane.  Current thinking places them from a realm of constant cold and ice.

Behaviour

Brittle Maidens exhibit a deep hatred of all sources of warmth.  They will instantly snuff out flames, and attack warm-blooded creatures.
