Knights of the Shield

The Knights of the Shield are an established knighthood within the nation of Palmyrion. They are treated as separate contingents within the military ranks, subject to harsher training but improved supplies, arms, and armor. They are encouraged to retain and display their trappings as knights after they leave service in the military. Should they seek to return to the military, they are easily accepted back into the military.
