Theriaca wafers are made from the theriaca root and common cooking meal. Cooking the Theriaca into wafer form preserves the effectiveness of the root, and allows it to remain active in the bloodstream for a long period of a time.  Theriaca suppresses the effect of poisons in the blood. Theriaca is also used to create Thirine .
