Octo-Shroom

The OctoShroom, is a hivemind mushroom with a fairly high intelligence. Through it's spores it can spread into and take over other creatures as it makes them do it's bidding

It has a vaguely octopus-like structure, hence the name.

It's personal senses are somewhat limited however it is capable of making use of the senses of all of it's subsumed hosts, allowing it to create a vast network throughout an area, furthering it's ability to spread.
