Port Morilay

Port Morilay is a newcomer to the world stage, a country not recognized by the global community due to it being a nation of pirates. The lack of international recognition isn't a real concern to the people of Port Morilay, as they'd rather not have too much attention until they're better established in the world.

Culture

The Morilay people belive the bond crewmates forge at sea to be a sacred and special bond, and often sing praises to fallen crewmates for their bravery and heroism. Johnathan Talwin does his very best to encourage this type of thinking, believing it essential for the future of their young nation.

Public Agenda

The Morilay people desire two things in their lives, wealth and freedom, and they are only interested in sharing the latter. Believing slavery to be a crime of the highest order, they set their sights on any slave traders to cut them down and liberate their captives. Since the newly freed people often have no idea where to go, they are often brought back to Port Morilay, where they either settle down or join a crew to support the growing nation to which they owe their freedom.

Assets

Port Morilay has great stores of plunder looted from their many expeditions at sea, hosting an imressive amount of gold and other precious materials for such a small nation.

Foreign Relations

No nation is fond of the ragtag assembly of pirates that form Port Morilay, some however are willing to hire them out as privateers for their own interests. The nation that has the greatest love-hate relationship with Port Morilay is the Republic of Wepria, being both the most common targets, and the most common clients for contracts.

Laws

Without direct orders from the Grand Captain, no ship may violate their privateering contract in any way.
Do not assault or harass any delegates coming to start a privateering contract.
Never steal from the people of Port Morilay, crewmate or otherwise
