The Hand of Kostrixa
The lake of Eskaras, also known as the Hand of Kostrixa, is the largest lake in the Primitive Lands, as well as Kenan. Born from the river Piexota, taking its source in the mountain belt of Jilhik deep within Agmār, from it are born five more streams, which flow directly into the sea (north) and ocean (west). The position of these streams curiously resemble the five fingers of a hand, which is were the lake take its name from.
Mythology
Legends tell that the lake is the last handprint of Kostrixa the destroyer on this world, before the Triad imprisoned him in Dysgalla. This handprint in the land is said to have caused the first Great Tremor, from which Kenan and Agmār base their calendars on.
Population
On the edges of the lake can be found cities on land, as well as houseboats and cities built on pilotis. At the bottom of the lake can be found underwater cities built by aquatic hybrids, as well as the Great Temple of Elzidiur, staffed with many religious officials and pilgrims.
