There is no companion better who Germain could have asked for when he awoke as a Revenantfor the first time.
He didn't know, at the time, to think the fox a strange addition to the landscape, blending into the snow around them as she did. Even when her spells and insights (communicated in the ways a fox can manage) turned the tides for him on more than one occassion, the thought never quite occured to him that there was something strange about her. She felt familiar. A comfort from her black tipped ears to her pair of tails.
When other people pointed these strange facets out to him, they did seem strange to Germain, but he sensed no ill will in their action, or that she was attempting to pretend to be something that she was not. He simply found her to be a strange fox.
There was more to her, of course. How could there not be with a Selenite fox. That's a question for her to answer, however.

Body Features
She has one notch cut out of her right ear, given to her from an indeterminant enemy or danger.
Physical quirks
If she is annoyed, or someone that she is distasteful of is speaking to her or Germain, she remains perfectly quiet as she alays does. Instead, her two tails twist around each other at an increasing pace the longer the conversation is going on.
Special abilities
She seems to have a very particular brand of magic that she can perform if given enough time, resources, and preperation. It seems born from nature, and the effects are often subtle and specific to a target or desired outcome.
Apparel & Accessories
Germaine gave her a band of faberic tied around the shoulders and waist, so that she could store things within. She often fills the impromptu satchel with herbs and other natural born products.

She always seems to push, in her limited methods of communication, for what she deems best for Germain. He can always be confident in this at all times, even when her more playful, impish nature comes to the fore.
As far as I've ever seen her pranks are, maybe, a little annoying. Just a touch, which often melts away as soon as her target hears that fox giggle.
