Hysterion

Hysterion (LG) is the second most worshipped god in the Pantheon of Malatoria. Although more people worship Mal-Torak, the God of Battle, Hysterion is considered the most powerful “good” god. Although in title he is the god of sky and water, his power reaches far beyond those realms. Hysterion is also known as the God of Justice and he leads the pantheon of "good gods" in council as their chief executor. This position of course does not extend to his brother Empterion and those gods who turned away during the Great Pantheonic Schism; Malfesto, Barakor, Narsheen, and Kilth.   Hysterion’s chief holy days are a festival in the last week of June known as the Days of Blue. During this week there are numerous parties, firework displays and feasts.   Hysterion is often depicted as an alabaster skinned, bald headed man with electric blue eyes, and wearing a shimmering silver and blue robe. At other times he is depicted as a giant white eagle or a great blue fish.   Typical symbols of Hysterion include the scales of justice, birds, fish, and any other avian or aquatic themed imagery.   Priests of Hysterion often wield tridents, each point representing one of three main foci of their god. Other weapons are used as well, and all the better if the trinity is represented.   Hysterion’s followers read from the Tome of Hysterion.   Due to his position amongst the Pantheon, Hysterion boasts more paladin followers than any other god.
