History

Mixed Reception

While they are extremely friendly and loyal, these dragons quickly became unwelcome in most cultures for their odd diet. Unlike most dragons that like to horde gold and gems, Pixiu eat them and anything else that could be considered wealth. Their loyalty was betrayed by those that couldn't accept this and they were driven out of the various cities and settlements. They found an unlikely ally in the peaceful tribes of orcs or wild elves. Nursed back to health, these two cultures placed little value in gold and most gemstones, giving them happily to the friendly creatures. Grateful for the care and attnetion, they became affectionate to their saviors. Unable to speak, it is mostly shown by a closeness combined with a large cat purr.
