Tundra Boar

The Duskmen refer to the Twilight Guardian with wereboar lycanthory as the Tundra Boar.

The Fury of The Evertwilight

While all of the Twilight Guardians shared the duty of protecting the people of the Duskmen, the Tundra Boar was also the one sent with any volunteers to help clear out threats that claimed the lives of Duskmen. The threats range from dangerous terrain or ice that needed to be marked, to hungry beasts that were hunting the tribes, to being the vanguard of the assault against hostile strangers and groups. As a role that was primarily reactive, often in response to a tragedy, this earned them the title of The Fury of the Evertwilight by the travelers that cross the tundras and Ice Shelf.   As a generous people, the Duskmen happily agreed that they would extend the duties of the Tundra Boar to the ice mermaids who are very peaceful and trusting creatures. This was itself what helped along the title of the Fury of the Evertwilight as the Duskmen in the position would often patrol the migratory paths, roaming the snow and ice in hopes to catch these threats sooner, rather than allow the dangers to linger. The pirates and poachers that hunted the ice mermaids started a ghost tale of a wrathful spirit that would claim the souls of those that harmed the creatures of the north.   The combative nature of the position often had the Tundra Boar working closely with the Arctic Wolf as the two that attacked on behalf of the Duskmen. While there are few recorded battles, let alone wars for the dwellers of the Evertwilight, when the time came, the Artic Wolf would call upon the Tundra Boar first and the two would be able to unleash the more violent nature of their lycanthropy. The two would usually form a strong friendship or become romantic partners throughout the generations because of this.

Lost Beyond Memory

It has been so long since the last Tundra Boar disappeared that the Duskmen have no spoken memory of the title ever belonging to one of the Twilight Guardians. The only remaining record they have that alludes to there ever being one is a prophecy carved as petroglyphs in the ice of the main building of Kassimavik.
