The History of Malkora so far

The Antecedents once called Malkora home, keepers of the long-lost Empire of Aether. Little is known of these ancient predecessors of humanity or what defined them as a people, but it is known from myth and legend that they commanded magic freely, as though it flowed through their veins.

Current Species & Cultures

Humanity has survived the calamity which toppled the Empire of Aether, in addition to other scattered disasters throughout the world's timeline. With the loss of the Antecedents and their empire, humanity's weakened bond with magic has left them succeptible to its influence. As the lands shift and change with the emergence of the leylines, so too does humanity alongside them.

Needs & Relations

The people of Malkora find themselves scattered throughout a world of shattered empires, broken civilizations, and ruins of what once was, but find themselves in equal measure of budding communities, aspiring kingdoms, and new lands of opportunity.   Surviving radical change is difficult without support, and this is what the people must provide one another to keep a crumbled nation from becoming a population gone extinct.
