Bilespire's Corruption

Legend has it that an arcanist by the title of “The Enzimetra” created this tower. Only rarely did they show their face and when they did it was in distant cities before other arcanists. They were last seen during the decline of the Age of Heroism and never heard from again. The tower itself has been dubbed Bilespire due to it's effect on the surrounding area. Bilespire resided on an island at the end of a chain of lakes. The closer one gets to the tower, the more putrid the water becomes. Only a handful of plant and animal species reside within Bilespire's lake and even then they are more populace at a distance. The fauna that exists is mutated and aberrant. Many local folktales are placed about the lake with more than a few being stolen stories adapted to put the tower at fault.
