Continental Times Article: Molten Tide from the Orchids

9th of the Thaw, 1032 AC
Insider information on the Fort Guillon dragon attack states that the cause is related to Ta Xha Fan activities. This information comes from the adventuring group known as Myska's Menagerie. A representative of the group, a tortle named Crush Tengral, spoke with the Continental Times to make the situation clear under Contractual Truth. Mr. Tengral made it known that he had spoken to the dragon responsible for the attack. On first name terms with the dragon, Mr. Tengral shared that one responsible for the attack is Hrathlnax, the Molten Tide. Furthermore, Mr Tengral quoted the dragon as saying “if another person disturbs [the dragon], he would bring destruction.” No more than a few days later, the local Ta Xha Fan known to worship at the temple had awoken the dragon despite centuries of worship at that temple.
When question on why Myska's Menagerie was in the dragon's lair, Mr. Tengral elucidated that he was looking for his sick uncle. Due to ongoing struggles in the relationship, Mr. Tengral's uncle was not named. On the subject of family, 'Chuptah'[sic] Gilgamesh of the party also claimed to be looking for his father as well, one Sinbad Gilgamesh, son of Gupta Speedwagon. Seeing his opportunity to speak to the work, the present Gilgamesh asked “if you could let me know if you find my father”, he would appreciate it. This is not the only work the party is outsourcing. The complete size of Myska's Menagerie is unknown because they also hire on contract workers such as a male gnome who did not wish to be named.
The ramifications of this news is dreadful considering yet undisclosed information. Mr. Tengral, the primary informant for this article, was himself and all his gear covered in quickly growing moss. After our interview, we found much of it growing in our own office. Mr. Tengral was happy to admit close proximity to the dragon before the attack as well as the people to disturb the dragon after such a warning. Despite this, Mr. Tengral's folk and aesthetic match that of the mixed 'menagerie' of tribes that make up the Ta Xha Fan. The implications of what is next is troublesome.
We have it from a confidential source that the Wind Speaker of the Ta Xha Fan, their confederacy leader, has passed on from this world. Is the death of the Ta Xha Fan leader related to the the dragon attack on Fort Guillon? Are the adventurer represented by Mr. Tengral seeking out their familial superiors connected to an Orchid Isle implied Coup against the current world order?
