Immreth Mountains

The Immreth Mountains dominate the northern half of the lands East of The Everstorm Sea. The Immreth Mountains form the eastern border of the Ulgoine Valley and the southern shore of Nystor's Path. The Immreth mountains are a relatively newer mountain range.

The mountains are home to a multitude of beasts and monsters. Stone and Frost giants claim different sections of the deep mountains. Roc are known to make nests in the area though few cohabitate at the same time due to their territorial nature. Other creatures known to live on or in the mountains are basilisks and winter wolves.

Few folk call the Immreth home. The dwarves of Kag Bhurim claimed a maintain adjacent to the Ulgoine Valley that they call Thjoldmondr (Dwarvish for "The People's Land"). Isolated communities of Mountain Men Halflings populate the Immreths though they deliberately make themselves hard to find. Anyone seeking out such a community must sojourn the wilds to find them.

Name
Immreth is the dwarven word for "Fell", labeled so for the amount of monsters that inhabit the region.
