Saskian Family

Sometimes referred to as the Shield of Cowards by opponents, Mother Saskia is a matron of protection and negation. An overbearing mother, Saskia wishes for nothing more than to be loved by her followers and to love them back in a sheltered cocoon of codependency. Mother Saskia provides whatever she can to draw in her following but then spends all of her efforts on creating an environment that is too comfortable for her followers to want to leave by removing the discomforts of the real world rather than amplifying the comforts.

Beliefs and Practices: Life can be long, rough, and unfair to some for no reason. It is the mission of Saskians to relieve that stress. When appropriate, they petition those with greater wealth to provide funds for their endeavors for prayers and blessings in the donors’ names. Convents and communal homes are established in fortified manor houses in isolated locals. They willingly accept in the poor and provide them with as much as can be spared.


Holy Symbol: A simple house of pale yellow-orange or tan with a red roof, grey bound door, and grey towers connected on either side, all on top of a field of charcoal grey.
