Wyrm Winnowing

The Wyrm Winnowing is a period of the Age of Heroism roughly ~100-700 AH. During the growth the ancient arcanists, the essence of dragons was used as a filler reagent for crafting of great wondrous items. Many, many dragons of a variety of ages were butchered by any adventurers that could find them Many adventurers died but the population of dragons was bottlenecked. The elven wizard titled “Drakenbrood” gathered young to hide and protect them.
