Waldensteel

Waldensteel is one of the three original settlements that comprised of the Council of Midara. Established near the end of the Steel Revolution Era (third age), it was originally an outpost made by Sorrinite Cultists who served the Red Dragon, Epexion, during the Hexadraconic War. After being conquered by a small adventuring party and their cohorts, the town was reconverted to act as a border patrol point between the continents of Midara and Sorrin. The city itself is just north of a bottleneck of mountains, making it near impossible to travel by land between the two continents without proximity of the watch of Waldensteel.
Outside the immediate city lies Cardin Outpost, a makeshift settlement that acts as the staging point outside of Waldensteel and hosts the launching point for the Midaran Hunter's Association.
